	ILM - Italian Language Schools Having moved to northern Tuscany this year, I spent 4 months attending classes at ILM, so I guess that makes me a longterm resident! I began in May, having already some knowledge of the language, but it was important for me to expand that base and arrive at a point in which I felt confident to attend job interviews in Italian. Even though I needed to travel 30 minutes each morning on the train to arrive at school, I never grew tired of it as I was always hungry for each lesson and the chance to immerse myself in the language. In the past, I have only studied languages on a one-on-one basis, and so I must admit that initially I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy a group lesson. However, I must say that it was an absolutely positive experience, as the changing group dynamic meant I learnt about a real variety of topics, along with the accompanying vocabulary. It also meant I had the opportunity to learn from other people’s questions and absorb and consolidate the rules of grammar more thoroughly than if I was studying alone. But, if this talk of grammar makes it sound as though lessons are terribly serious affairs, I should add that this is not the case at all. The courses provide a balance of language structure, conversation, listening and reading in a classroom atmosphere that is warm and encouraging. The combination of students and teacher create an environment in which laughter and learning each play their appropriate role. I am now about to sit a CILS exam in Italian, I’m able to converse in a work situation in Italian and I just love speaking this beautiful language. The best thing is that, thanks to the great teaching and the way in which all areas of the language structure are covered, I now have all the tools to speak Italian at a high level – it’s just up to me to keep practising and expanding my vocabulary. 	ILM - Italian Language Schools This is the third time i have studied here and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself each time. The classes are always interesting and there is a good sense of humor among staff and students. It's fun to meet and study with so many interesting people from so many different countries. 	ILM - Italian Language Schools My experience while attending the Istituto Linguistico Mediterraneo was a pleasurable one. The School did not hesitate for a moment to insure that all of my questions were answered and that I was fully accommodated. My instructors were very professional. Not only did they enhance my understanding of Italian, they instilled in me a better appreciation for the language itself and the Italian culture as well. 	ILM - Italian Language Schools Hi ! I'm Jessica, I'm 17 years old and I've been studying Italian with ILM for two weeks in Pisa. When I first arrived, I was worried that I was on my own and I didn't speak very much Italian. I was so pleased when it turned out to be so easy to make friends of all nationalities both in the school and in town. In just few days, I was able to speak Italian confidently in and out the class. Pisa is a big enough city to have plenty of things to do and see and small enough to orientate one self easily. Everything is accessible on foot. The school itself is very close to the station which makes the exploration of Tuscany limitless. You can enjoy the sight of the great city of Florence, the serenity of Lucca or be relaxing on a beach. Pisa really is an excellent choice of location to practise and improve your language skills and it is incredible the amount that can be learnt in a relatively short amount of time. 	ILM - Italian Language Schools My name is David and I am 19 years old. I have been in Pisa for two weeks, studying Italian. I have improved my Italian a lot whilst having a great time. The school is situated in a central location in the beautiful city of Pisa. Pisa is a vibrant city, with many Italian and international students alike. This makes it the perfect place to forge new friendships with people from all over the world. Pisa is a great place to stay, having good connections to the very best of Tuscany. 	ILM - Italian Language Schools Hi, my name is Jong-seok, Lee & I'm a Korean. Now, I'm staying in Italia for study Italia language. Before I came here I was a little nervous, because It was a first experience to visit Europia company. Also, I didn't know much more Italian language. But, I'm studying in ILM for 2 months with great teacher and good friends who were from different each countries. The course was very effective, grammar based for the first few hours, then with a focus on conversation. This enabled us to learn to speak Italian, and to speak it correctly. The language schools have all the facilities necessary, helpful and friendly staff and are situated in the beautiful areas of Pisa. 	ILM - Italian Language Schools I studied with ILM over the summer of 2005 and had a great time living and working in Italy. I chose the language school in Pisa and the work experience option in the school, so I would study during the morning then work in the language school office in the afternoon. The course was very effective, grammar based for the first few hours, then with a focus on conversation. This enabled us to learn to speak Italian, and to speak it correctly.
