Preparatory course for admission to Italian University "P/2"- "P/6" and "U/2"- "U/6"

The preparatory course for admission into the faculties of Medicine, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, Biology and Chemistry. It is a long course (2-6 months) and includes lessons in Italian and in scientific subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics).

The preparatory course for admission to University in Italy is intended for those who wish to attend University in Italy and all students who are unable to gain admission to university degree courses in their own country.

These special courses are particularly useful for students from countries with numerus clausus for admission to university, but recognize as valid the period of study or the degree of an Italian University. The growing number of foreign students, above all from the European Union, has led to an increasingly fine selection for admission to University in Italy. Hence the need for an appropriate preparatory course which will give foreign students a good chance of success in the selection process.

Our preparatory course fro admission to University is taught by teachers who have graduated in the specific subjects in classes of a maximum of 15 students and consists in explanations both of the subjects and of the related terminology.

The course for specific subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology is held during the months of July and August. The course can be preceded by a course in the Italian language from March onwards each year according to the initial level of knowledge of the language of each student. Those with no knowledge of Italian are advised to attend a course of at least 8 weeks, before attending the scientific course in July and August.

The course is held in Pisa.
