Preparation courses for admission examinations to Italian Universities


Regulations


Enrolment

  1. Whichever of our centres is chosen, the enrolment form must be sent (by e-mail, by post or by fax) to the central office in Pisa, together with the receipt of the advance payment required.


You may pay the course fees:

  1. The advance payment is the equivalent of 30% of the total price of the course chosen and must be paid:
    -by international money order;
    - by payment into Current Bank Account:

    - cash to the school Secretary.
    - Enrolment forms not accompanied by the reipt of the advance payment are not taken into consideration
  2. The balance must be paid on the first day of the course (the day of the placement test)
    - Any bank charges have to be paid directly to the school, the first day of the course.


Classes

  1. Classes take place from Mondays to Fridays; they do not take place on Italian public holidays.
  2. Classes do not take place on the day of the initial placement test.
  3. Beginners are strictly requested to start the course on the dates shown in the calendar.
  4. When the number of applicants make it necessary, courses may be held in the afternoon.


Cancellation

  1. Cancellation of enrollment must be sent to the school by registered post or telegram.
  2. If cancellation is communicated at least 30 days before the beginning of the course, the advance payment will be returned, minus bank or post expenses; if less than 30 days before, the advance payment will not be refunded.
  3. Once the course has started, no refounds are possible, neither for irregular attendance nor for quitting the course.


Accommodation

  1. Payment for accommodation reserved by the school must be made according to the indications given by the Secretary and within two days after arrival.
  2. In the lodgings reserved by the school, students must behave so that they do not disturb the owners or other lodgers.
  3. Reservation of accommodation is strictly personal.
  4. Should a student cause any damage to the lodging, he or she will have to pay for it.


Insurance

  1. Students are covered by an insurance only within the school premises. It is advisable to arrange other forms of insurance before leaving one's country.
