Pisa in Spring 2023

Events in Pisa in Spring 2023

Almost everyone knows the big events in Pisa that take place every year in June, but there are also some nice events in April and May worth visiting, for example a guided tour of the San Matteo Museum and the Museum in Palazzo Reale, which are not only an option on rainy days.

From April 7th to June 25th, you can visit the National Geographic exhibition “Explore. Pianeta Terra” in Palazzo Blu, a discovery journey of our planet with its diverse flora and fauna that is so delicate and sensitive.

On three Saturdays in April, May and June (15.4., 13.5., 10.6.), the Botanical Museum organizes a 3-hour walk along the city walls of Pisa, paying particular attention to the flowers and plants growing in the immediate vicinity.

On April 22nd and 23rd, 2023 all fans of vintage products will have a great time. “Pisa Vintage” takes place on Piazza Guerrazzi (Stazione Leopolda), a fair entirely dedicated to nostalgia with accessories, furniture, records and all kinds of things from earlier times. Food trucks will ensure gastronomical delights with delicious dishes.

There are more than enough events in Pisa and the next one is at the same location, namely again at Stazione Leopolda, but this one dedicated to beer. From 5th to 7th May 2023, the 13th edition of Beer River, Pisa’s craft beer event, will take place with tastings, workshops and a varied accompanying programme.

Last but not least, we would like to point out a great music festival that you shouldn’t miss: the Tuscan Festival of Ancient Music. It is one of the events in Pisa with a really long tradition. The series of events offers an afternoon concert at different locations of the town as well as a main evening concert, which will take place from June 28 to July 3, 2023 in the inner courtyard of the Sapienza.

If you come to visit Pisa in the next two months, take a look at some of these cultural events and be sure to have a good time!
