Do you want to discover the art and architecture of some of the most beautiful Italian cities, and experience the long tradition of local wine-making?
We have prepared a ‘light’ study programme of the Italian language focusing on conversation and enriched with cultural activities centred around the two principal aspects of Tuscan culture: art and wine.
There will be Italian lessons in the morning from 9am-12pm (except for Wednesday) while in the afternoons there will be trips to local places of interest, or wine tastings and the opportunity to sample local delicacies.
Other Italian study trips include the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower, a trip to the nearby city of Lucca and a gastronomical tour of Florence with a visit to an historical Florentine enoteca.
Accomodation can be chosen from the various possibilities offered by our school.
A typical Italian study programme is the following:
Sunday: orientation
Monday: Visit to the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower. Dinner in a local restaurant.
Tuesday: Wine and oil tasting.
Wednesday morning: Gourmet tour of Florence with visit to enoteca “Amadei”. Afternoon free.
Thursday: Trip to Lucca.
Friday: Visit to a local wine producer
Saturday: Departure
The programme is subject to variations according to time of year and weather conditions.
Our Italian study programme will help you discovering Tuscan art and culture.
